FAF Pro FAF Express FAF Booklet Add'l Assessments Upgrades Add'l Features |
Create a Factor This feature allows agencies to create a factor and items that are unique to their program needs. Examples might include a pregnant and parenting teen factor, an adoptive parent factor, or a factor related to adolescent issues. Once created, new factors are fully integrated into the FAF program so that all other forms and reports include these new factors (i.e. service plans, family functioning reports, etc.) Another use of this feature would be for agencies that might want to modify an existing FAF factor to make it more relevant to their agency, geographic location, client population, etc. While the existing FAF factors that come with the program cannot be modified, an agency could recreate one of these factors using the Create a Factor feature and change the operational definitions, item titles, etc. to better meet their needs. In this case, the agency would use their newly created factor and not the existing FAF factor. It is important to remember when creating a new factor, that its validity and reliability would need to be tested. We can only verify the validity and reliability of the existing FAF factors. |
